1950 Vintage Mid Century Ad- Bette Davis storms the screen in the RKO film Payment on Demand. He strayed... and he paid She saw to that! The one sin that no woman ever forgives. Fantastic and boldly campy original Vintage Black and white ad for the film Payment on Demand a potboiler Ms Davis was struggling through when the call that she would be the star of the incredible All About Eve came through. Great ad with a tempestuous looking Davis in deep decollatage gown and sparkling jewels fiery eyes and the usual manner of the screen diva she always was. Other members of the cast included co-star Barry Sullivan Jane Cowl, Betty Lynn and Frances Dee. Bette was about to create the role of her career and during filming was already dashing off to be fitted by Edith Head for the costumes that were so fantastic in All About Eve. Wonderful original ad taken from an issue of Life Magazine sure to impress any fan of Mid Century Hollywood. Measures 11 x 15. Condition is crisp and clean. Will be fantastic on display with any decor!
