1950 Oddly Charming Vintage Mid-Century Ad- Bridal Bouquet Toss is a Thrill Under Heavenly Carpets by Lees! Wonderful and Wacky Original Vintage Mid-Century Ad taken from the pages of a Spring, 1950 issue of Better Homes and Gardens Magazine. Sophisticated Witty and Weird color graphic features a stylish bride tossing her bouquet down a staircase- carpeted by Lees in the new Frost Rose pattern- note the chic bridesmaids in green- one who cannot resist dipping her bare foot into the depths of the carpeting and the maid who is so eager to catch the bouquet she nearly drops her tray of perfect canapes. Unknown artist has given this ad- and an entire series created for the company a marvelous sense of animation and fantasy sure to enchant any viewer. Ad measures 11 x 14 and features the bright happy glamour of the Mid-Century. This image is one of nearly one hundred new items being added to my shop this week!
