1950 Gorgeous Vintage Vogue Mid-Century Ad- Elegant Adrian Gown in Smooth Enka Satin. Absolutely Fabulous Original Vintage Mid-Century Ad taken from the pages of a spring, 1951 issue of Vogue Magazine. Beautiful color photo of a new elegantly designed gown by Adrian posed outside the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles. Adrian's design here features his inimitable signature of grace and style the frock has an uneven hemline which harks back to the designs he created twenty years earlier when he was the top designer for glamorous Hollywood studio MGM. The dress features a simplicity of line and form note the use of contrasting colors of yellow and mocha brown with a dipping neckline and ribbon tie at the waist. A wonderful example of his works sure to be with with any fan of glamour or fashion. Measures 10 x 14 in crisp, clean condition overall.
