Simply wonderful Original Vintage Mid-Century Ad taken from the pages of an October, 1949 issue of Life Magazine. Released as a double-bill the wild weird and wonderful Legend of Sleepy Hollow was magically brought to life and modernized with narration by swigin' singin' sensation Bing Crosby and remains one of the great short animated classics to this day. Rare original Ad features the title unfurled in the red cloak of the horrible headless horseman as he chases poor hapless, greedy Ichabod Crane! Basil Rathbone followed in the wonderful colorful and quirky bit of whimsy known as The Adventures of Mr. Toad. Glorious half-paged color graphic is the epitome of Walt Disney's signature style bold dramatic and exciting- note the lettering for Ichabod resembles an oak tree while the bottom of the ad mentions Bing's crooning for three featured songs in Ichabod and the promise of thrills, chills and a rollicking good time! Ad is complete and measures 11 x 15 will make a wonderful addition to any Disney collection- also a perfect image to celebrate a spook-tacular Halloween!
