Description: A must have in any vintage toy collection! This is the original Magic 8 ball! Named after a fortune teller's trick box, the Syco-Slate was manufactured in 1944, then improved to this style in 1948 by Alabe. Put your hand on the top and ask it your question, then flip the tube over and it will review your answer. Our's is in better condition than any we've found online, with only a bit of clear tape on the side label. Answers are still readable, but it takes a second because they're very dim.
