Description: This 14-1/2" by 20-1/2" abstract illustration of Men in Swimsuits comes framed in a 23-1/2" by 29-1/2" deep wood frame. Signed in the lower right corner "McKeown 48", probably done by Westley Barclay McKeown(1927-1975). McKeown was a New Jersey illustrator/painter that was a president of the Society of Illustrators during the 1970-1972 era. The illustrated painting was done in opaque/translucent watercolor paints with line highlights done in ink on a textural cardboard panel. Painting is in good condition with artist pencil markings; Frame in fair condition with some staining and scuffing. I have had this large illustrated painting in my collection for about 6 Years.
