Description: 1947 Vintage Mid-Century Film Ad- Spectacular Technicolor Paramount Pictures Presents Perils of Pauline w Betty Hutton Gorgeous Lavish Color! Absolutely Amazing Original Vintage Hollywood Film Ad taken from the pages of Ladies Home Journal Magazine. Paramount Pictures mounted a lavish, splashy bold spectacle for it's singing sensation Betty Hutton loosely based on the life of early Film Serial Queen Pearl "Perils of Pauline" White. Done with all the flair and confidence of the Mid-Century the film features wonderful song and dance numbers, sparkling comedy and wonderful character actors such as the inimitable Constance Collier and raw-voiced easily irascible William Demarest at his crusty best. This is a gorgeous bit of old Hollywood History- which will display exceptionally well- great for films fans, Betty Hutton aficianados or anyone who appreciates the magnificent drama of Technicolor graphics. Ad measures 11 x 14- condition is excellent crisp clean and superbly colored! All items at A Fine Madness Collectibles are guaranteed original Vintage, Antique Ads, Prints, Artwork, Postcards, Hollywood and Paper Ephemera- never reproductions or copies. You are buying from a seller and collector of over twenty years standing. Question? Feel free to contact me with any prior to purchasing.
