Occasionally outlandish, often amusing and utterly charming, the modern Art movement of Surrealism was ideally suited to the frivolous and fabulous world of fashion reaching it's zenith of popularity immediately following WW2. In this sleek, chic and simple ad color texture and bold graphic are seen to great advantage- the product, Matrix Shoes are compared to your footprint in leather complete with a duo of unique styles a peep toe spectator and closed toe with natty Cuban heel. Note the bright burst of raspberry pink for the background and the weird landscape at the top of the page. A beautiful ad which has all the graceful oddity of the Surrealist movement. Measures 10 x 14 condition is bright and clean overall some slight smudge under the footprint block otherwise great. Will be a delightful novelty to add a piquant hint of chic to any decor!
