Chic and daring with the newest looks from Paris, the fall collection of 1947 had many bright stars including this beautiful ensemble done by Jacques Fath in garden green- note the long and graceful skirt length with volume and fullness in a daring gray and deep green plaid paired with s natty little jacket with nipped-in waist and tight sleeves trimmed in astrakhan paired with a very jaunty tres jolie feathered capped beret. This is a wonderful example of the style which came to be known as the "new look" then sweeping the world via Paris and the divinely smart pages of Vogue Magazine. This 10 x14 original fashion drawing done with great flair by wonderful illustrator Eric is in excellent crisp clean condition- bright and sparkling in person.
