Description: 1947 Fantastic Vintage Mid-Century Ad- All Aboard for Tomorrow- Union Pacific offers Golden history from first Continental Railroad to Modern Diesel Powered Trains Sudaka Artwork. Absolutely Incredible Original Vintage Color Mid-Century Ad taken from the pages of a 1947 Holiday Magazine. Beautifully rendered panoramic painting of the joining of the first transcontinental railroad at Pormontory Point, Utah is compared to the modern sleek streamlined Union Pacific silver and yellow cars of 1947- using General Motors latest technology Diesel Power. Artist Gaston Sudaka gives the viewer a thrilling iamge of that historic day in 1869 when the golden spike was drilled overseen at Poromontory Point by future magnate Leeland Sanford urging the first intercontinental ride of the Union Pacific. Ad is simply glorious for the lover of history or Mid-Century iamgery- the bottom half showcases the gleaming sleek modernity of present day 1947 deluxe railway travel. Ad measures 11 x 15 very crisp clean and brilliantly bright in person. Exceptional colorful example of the richly romanticized Mid-Century vision of American History!
