Description: 1946 Sweet Vintage Mid-Century Ad- Lovely Young Bride Dreams of Perfect Westmorland Sterling Silverware Baz Artwork. Delightfully Wistful Charm in this Original Vintage Mid-Century Ad taken from the pages of an April, 1946 issue of McCall's Magazine. Artist Baz? has created a perfect image of the lovely young girl dreaming of a life as a future bride which will include a stunning setting of Westmorland Sterling Siverware. Following WW2, many ads focused on romance, marriage and future home-owning during the year of 1946- this is a beautiful example of the somewhat wistful loveliness of the early days of the Mid-Century. Note the simplicity and girlish quality of the young woman- her pretty face dreamy eyes and Alice-in-Wonderland hair ribbon. Lovely graphic with strong bold colors- note the deep pink floral arrangement and the chic charm bracelets on her wrist- wonderful! Ad measures 11 x 15 and is in crisp clean bright condition overall. Will be incredible either as decorative accent piece or gift! One of several new novel and splendid items coming up for sale this week! All items at A Fine Madness Collectibles are guaranteed original Vintage, Antique Ads, Prints, Artwork, Postcards, Hollywood and Paper Ephemera- never reproductions or copies.
