1942 Vintage World War Two Color Ad for Whitman's Chocolate Sampler with Naval Officer and his Sweetheart at Airport. Beautiful original 11 x14 full-page full-color ad taken from an issue of Ladies Home Journal Magazine.
Wonderful bright color graphic with background done in gold and blue the Whitman's Sampler colors. Unknown artist has perfectly captured the mood of the moment- the excitement of meeting your stalwart Naval hero at the airport on leave- and just look he remembered a huge box of Whitman's. Note that his sweetheart wears a pin in the shape of an anchor and a very patriotic and smart looking red melton coat. Great slogan A woman never forgets the man who remembers. Ad is in excellent crisp condition colorful and charming- will be a marvelous addition to any colllection or decor- or a novel gift.

I offer USPS and also Ups depending upon buyers choice. Most items that measure under 12 x16 can fit easily into a priority flat rate box for around $10.00 contingent upon weight.
