Description: Offered is a nice early Counter Display Box for Sewing Thread. Graphics all around say Star Mercerized Sewing Cotton--Fast Colors--Will Boil--American Thread Co. The front of the Box has 4 Pull-Out Handled Drawers that have a thicker glass insert to the front. When the drawers are pulled open you have a place to align your spools of thread. There is some spools of Thread still in the Box and there still label stickers at the front that were use to list the color the Thread in each row. Piece measures 15 3/4 x 14 (deep) x 8 1/2" in height. I believe this piece is somewhere around the 1940's to 50's. Overall very good/excellent condition. As shown in the photos there is some scratching to the top of the Box. A nice Advertisement Piece for anyone collecting Sewing related items. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance
