Description: This is just an astounding collection of historical propaganda. Finding a complete set is almost impossible and other than this one, we haven't seen another. Produced by the Propaganda company of the German army in conjunction with the Jupp Daehler graphic company in Berlin in 1940. This collection has 20 photos reproduced on very heavy paper that was meant for framing. Each is presented in a recessed area that is made to resemble matting. There are also two full size quote pages on the same type of paper only without the recessed area. Below is a full listing with the German translation (provided by an online translator and so not totally exact) and the English translation following. On each photo listing you can find the photographer listed following the initials PK. These are all contained in a tri-fold portfolio made to look like leather comprised of very heavy paper. The cover is slightly soiled (mainly on the front) and written in very small script (in ink) is the name George Brown and there is also an ink mark on the nazi eagle that is embossed on the front standing on a swastika in a laurel wreath. Four of the photos have small water stains in the very upper edge of the paper. These in no way encroach on any of the photos. On the bottom of each photo is listed the title and photographer. Each measures 13" by 10". This collection has been professionally appraised with a replacement value of $1,600. Serious inquiries may email for a zip folder that contains pics of each and every aspect of this collection.
