Beautiful artwork with drama color and flair features the three female leads of director Roy Del Ruth's film Tail Spin. Amelia Earhart and a legion of others- (including oft forgotten early aviatrix pioneer Harriet Quimby),- had proven that women could be just a successful in the skies, just as brave daring and accomplished as men. This film was released probably to capitalize on the popularity of male buddy aviation vehicles such as Only Angels have Wings- great graphic with beautiful sepia toned images of the leads explaining why they fly- which include sleek and chic Connie Bennett, torch-singer Alice Faye and charming Nancy Kelly with this ultimate message: Women of the sky- the heart-throbs and thrills that come with their split-second escapes in a smashing melodrama of adventure!
