Simply Wonderful Original Vintage Deco Sub-Deb Dating Advice Column Page taken from a Spring, 1936 issue of Ladies Home Journal Magazine. Great graphic enhances the charm of this sub-deb advice column written by Elizabeth Woodward for the young set readers of Ladies Home Journal Magazine. Artist Nurick presents a humor-laden scene of a dazzling trio of debs comparing notes about the dubious dancers at the hop they are forced to contend with. Nurick specialized in fanciful images of lovely young women often seen on the pages of the monthly advice column. Woodward's witty chatty intimate writing style was ideally suited to Nurick's look- much of her advice is as valuable now as it was in 1936! Page measures 11 x 15 condition is crisp and bright. Love the detail of the one deb reaching down to adjust her stockings- note the elaborate yet youth appropriate hair-dos!
