1933 Delightful Vintage Deco Ad- A.T. & T is Your Friend and Neighbor Wonderful Telephone Switchboard Operator Black and White Artwork. Stunning Graphic in this Original Vintage Deco Ad taken from the pages of an August 26, 1933 issue of Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Remember her?- she was the most important business contact of her day- she helped companies and families all over the country to thrive and survive during the darkest period of the Great Depression. Who was she?- usually a friendly competent young woman who learned how to operate the often complicated, frequently grueling telephone switchboard! Great graphic in this black and white ad shows this busy important executive- note her neat trim appearance, curled hair and chic simple black ensemble and small town setting. Ad measures 11 x 15- overall condition is crisp and clean. A great image of a largely forgotten pioneer in the business world! Will be fantastic on display with any decor.
