Description: 1931 Entrancing Vintage Deco McCall's Magazine Cover Chic Neysa McMein Artwork Traveling Beauty. Absolutely Charming Original Vintage Deco McCall's Cover Art created by Neysa McMein Chic Traveler en route to Continental Adventure. Sublime Artwork in this original Art Deco Cover art done for McCall's Magazine by Neysa McMein for the October, 1931 issue. With her simple and chic elegance artist McMein enhanced many ads and magazines with her inimitably modern yet quaint style. This image of a fashionable Deco Maiden in smart tailored gray suit and basque beret holds trunks and hat- boxes all set to travel to the continent for a divinely sleek chic vacation! Beautiful use of color- note especially the boldly vivid pink of the hat-box. This is the cover only- condition is merely good- some browning to the extreme edges and the original inked purple mailing stamp can be seen at the bottom underneath pink letters that announce the intriguing tag-line What Fathers Expect of Their Daughters. Beautiful example of what made Neysa McMein one of the most popular female artists of the Dazzling Deco Period. Cover measures 11 x 15 and will be a unique pretty addition to any decor!
