1929 Lovely Vintage Deco Sheet Music- Building a Nest for Mary- Words by Billy Rose- Gorgeous Flapper in Nest Stocker Artwork. Simply Marvelous Original Vintage Sheet Music! Published by Remick Music Corp, 1929 this is a true Art Deco gem featuring fanciful artwork in dark blue and orange of a lovely flapper in white sitting in a large birds-nest- the dress about her resembles small white eggs with the exuberant title overhead in midnight blue lettering which also mentions song with ukulele arrangement featuring words by Billy Rose and Music by Jesse Greer. Billy Rose was among the most successful popular and prolific man to ever plug a tune down New York's infamous Tin-Pan Alley and this is one among probably dozens of songs written between 1910 and 1930. Note the incredibly charming image of the young woman with her Louise Brooks bob and sweet expression. Music is complete the condition is overall bright and sharp- original owners name has been written beautifully in pen on the nest. Measures 10 x 13- will be stunning on display!
