Asie from helpful hints, fantastic fashion and incredible short works of fiction, magazines such as Good Housekeeping were largely responsible for popularizing a number of new and talented artists during the course of the Art Deco era often including works of rare enchanting refinement and grace. Artist James Swinnerton had a uniquely refined yet utterly enchanting manner of delineating a variety of woodland creatures and wild animals with a pretty palette and a subtle sweetness. This original Vintage Deco Drawing was created to accompany a short piece regarding the friendship between a clever squirrel and a dear domestic gray dove.
