Description:
1928 Fabulous Vintage Deco Ad- Fisk Tires are Preferred by Hollywood Luminaries Clara Bow, Marion Davies and William Haines. Absolutely Wonderful and Rare Original Vintage Deco Ad taken from the pages of a September, 1928 issue of Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Fisk Tires was able to trumpet that some of the biggest box office draws towards the waning of the Silent Era were speeding along the roadways on their inimitable tires- including red hot Clara Bow, jokester William Haines and lovely young on the rise Marion Davies. This ad is a wonderful mirror portraying some of the best and brightest just prior to the popular career altering advent of the Sound revolution. Glorious graphgic deffines the Deco period bold black and white with splashes of scarlet for dramatic emphasis. Terrific and rare image- note the placement of each star with Marion Davies front and center and the dashingly jaunty William Haines just beneath her- Clara Bow looks both adorable and defiant while Aileen Pringle looks charming and sporty. Ad measures 11 x 15 condition is crisp and clean overall. Will be incredible on display or make a unique and appreciated gift for the film fan in your life!
