Wonderfully Whimsical Original Vintage Deco Magazine Cover Art taken from an October, 1928 issue of Woman's Home Companion Magazine. Artist Maginel Wright Barney has given Halloween a decided Deco twist bright pops of color with shading ranging from soft cool blues to warm inviting pinks as kiddies gather to display their Halloween handiwork raising jack o' lanterns overhead. Barney was a clever charming talented artist whose work was displayed to perfection in a variety of top-notch magazines during the first three decades of the twentieth century. Wonderful example of her use of bright color and ability to make childhoods sweetest moments come to vivid glowing life. Cover only is in fair to good condition overall- some spotting and chipping with the original mailing label in green affixed to the bottom just over the signature line. Matted and framed it will be a stunning addition to any decor and a perfect bit of nostalgic Halloween lore!
