Absolutely Delightful Vintage Color Deco Ad taken from a late, 1928 issue of Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Fantastic pen designs provided by Parker Duofold in luminous iridescent gray marblelized style and lady duofold in gorgeous lapis lazuli blue. Wonderful image of papa lifintg Santa Claus mask to his face drawn by Norman Rockwell- an indication of the talent, humor and whimsy of this incredible artist early in his illustrious career. Norman Rockwell's earlier commercial art may lack the polished look of his paintings but they are gems of warmth and contain a sweet style all their own. Ad measures 11 x 15 and is in bright excellent condition- will be fabulous on display- great gift for the fan of Deco or Norman Rockwell.
