Description:
Lovely 1923 Brush McCoy Onyx Urn, or Vase, otherwise known as Red Onyx. Beautiful coloring, goes from deep chocolate to coffee with cream color, with a lucious drip marbled glaze.
This Urn can be found in Sanford's "The Guide To Brush McCoy Pottery," on page 45. It was made in Blue, Green and Brown.
The condition is excellent, with No chips or cracks. It does have one tiny glaze pop or bubble (with extra clay). 3 Firing pin marks on the bottom. Not unusual with this age Brush McCoy, it is not marked. We have given you numerous views. You will see the light reflecting off the piece, which was hard to avoid.
