Description: Rare and hard to find 1920-30's cast iron Elephant Cigarette Dispenser. This item is gold painted and original with a decal from the Chicago Worlds Fair 1933 on the lid. Parts of the decal are missing, but from the graphics, with the Art Deco style, you can tell its the same as the one used on the box camera in "Worlds Fair Collectibles" by Howard M Rossen, a Schiffer Book, page 35. The box on top holds the cigarettes, just turn the tail, the cigarette falls into a cradle under its stomach. Condition is very good, with some paint loss due to age. No breaks or repairs. All original except the felt pads on the feet. This piece is very special and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. See photos. Have a look at my other items. Thank you for viewing.,
