Description: 1919 Vintage Jazz Age Printzess Suit and Coat Ad- Color Football Game Theme H.Vallely Artwork. Solving your style problem is a beautiful possiblity thansk to Printz-Beiderman Caompany and thier famous Printzess distinction in dress line of coats and suits. Taken from a 1919 issue of Ladies Home Journal Magazine, this is a gorgeous original color ad with artwork done by H. Vallely featuring chicly clad flappers and their football hero pals in stunning pastel colors. Two new novel modern looks for the autumn of 1919 are showcased- one a loose fitting natty pale orange coat with tall buttomed vaaguely military collar, the other a smart and elegant suit with ankle-length skirt and long jacket both in dove grey trimmed in smoke gray- note the turned up birm of the ladys bright blue hat with it's rose underside and the wonderful colorful drama of the great American pasttime of the period- the football game. H.Valleely was an incredibly talented illustrator always at his best with iamges of beautiful women- this is early in his career and a little more delicate than the pin-up art he would become known for. Ad is in bright crisp clean condition overall- measures 11 x 17- stunning image to add to any collection- and a unique decoratvie accent piece.
