Two fetching Sailor-Maidens attired in middy-blouses and short skirts skip happily towards their Evinrude Motorboat asking you to join in the jolly times aboard. Evinrude revolutionized sailing during the early days of the twentieth century by single-handedly inventing the first outboard motor- this one incudes a silences for a smooth and idyllically quiet ride and the ad-copy mentions that recent Roosevlet and Steffanson expeditions included an Evinrude in their stalwart gear. Wonderful little ad with a graceful bit of dash and a lightly tinted color palette perfectly captures the last carefree days of that halcyon time before the advent of World War One altered the world forever.
