1913 Vintage Belle Epoque Rare Early Irving Berlin Halloween Theme Sheet Music At the Devil's Ball- Pfeiffer Artwork. Wonderful and rare original Vintage Sheet Music for Irving Berlin's Rag-Time themed At the Devils Ball. Artist Pfeiffer uses a combination of scarlet purple and orange to create a fantastic if rather ghoulish setting for this song- with a splendid looking devil turning back the curtain on a ballroom filled with whirling devil couples swaying to the strains of a rollicking rag-time tune. Irving Berlin was already infamous for helping to create the supremely successful rag-time airs of the late Belle Epoque when this piece was created in 1913. Beautiful artwork with a bewitching air of fantasy- nice photo inset tinted in purple of singer Eddie Dale- a rather earnest looking young man for such a song-choice. Sheet Music is complete five pages plus front and back cover measures 11 x 14 large sized format.
