1911 Vintage Spanish Belle Epoque Color Print La Vida En Las Calles De Londres by Callejera. Richly designed with the elegant radiance of the Belle Epoque is this original Vintage Spanish print taken from a rare issue of La Espera Magazine. Artist Callejera has created a wonderfully colorful scene of London travel by omnibus- in soft mellow tones reflecting the early evening. Beautiful and interesting portrait of the London- note the soft rain illuminated by the lights from the omnibus- the destination is stated at the top as Regents Street- Edgeware Road, Hackney, Bishopsgate. The image is absolutely delightful with it's fine combination of softness and vivid colors. The ladies stepping off the bus are attired in evening wear- scarlet cape and satin slippers, the lady behind her sports a chic leopard scarf. This beautiful print is in excellent bright clean condition- an unusual image of London life created for a Spanish magazine. Measures 11 x15- done on heavy glossy stock paper- will be a wonderful addition to any collection!
