Absolutely Stunning and Rare Original Vintage Belle Epoque Ad taken from the pages of a January, 1911 issue of Life Magazine. During the Glorious years of the Belle Epoque the ideal mode of transportation became the automobile- and the ultimate is chic sporty luxury for the era was the inimitably beautiful Pierce-Arrow. Wonderful image features jaunty motorists with very happy collie pup enjoying a run through the quaint locale of Nuernberg in the brand new Pierce-Arrow touring car done in shades of burgundy with gold fittings and gray tires. Unknown artist has vividly conveyed the elegant delights of motoring- note the gents natty tan windowpane checked jacket and her tightly-fitting peach basket hat- the very latest in finery for 1911. Ad is done in mellowed tones to suggest the aged city of Nuernberg complete with gray castle in the background. Measures 10 x 13 condition is crisp and bright overall. Will be splendid on display with any decor!
