Description:
1910 Vintage Art Nouveau 4th of July German Embossed Postcard w Flag- waving mother and child. Lovely Original Vintage Postcard full of the charm and quaint beauty of the Art Nouveau Era. Mother and her little lad in blue wave flag in country setting- card is done in light, bright pastel tones sprinkled liberally with gilt paint. Poem at top is patriotic and sweet and reads as follows:
As a little child in glee
He cried for the red, white and blue,
It's bright colors he loved to see
When his mother held the flag to view.
Stamped and dated 1910 some slight wear to the corners but bright and clean overall. A wonderful example of the high-spirited patriotism of the Art Nouveau Era!

I do ship internationally- through paypal on-line payments and money orders, cashier's checks drawn on American banks. Shipping costs vary contingent upon buyer location. I offer USPS and also Ups depending upon buyers choice. Most items that measure under 12 x16 can fit easily into a priority flat rate box for around $10.00 contingent upon weight.
