Description: 1910 Vintage Art Nouveau/Edwardian Era White Rock Table Water ad with sophistication and grandeur for 1910. Perfection of manner, dress and person were all the coveted expectations of this elegant era. White Rock Table Water Ad in sumptuous color taken from a 1910 rare Theatre Magazine displays these attributes to perfection- note the erect carriage of the woman as she elegantly raises a glass to her slightly parched lips, her distinguished yet plump companion and the footman arriving to add the next group of bottles to the libation. The Edwardians knew how to create a scene of majestic splendor- note the long lean lines of her gown and the interesting color combination of palest pink, deep purple and seafoam green. White Rock had the audacity to place a lightly draped wood nymph on each bottle as the years went by she became ever more scantily clad. Ad is in good+ condition and was removed from a bound volume of the wonderful and long-gone Theatre Magazine published in New York catering to the uptown crowds of marvelous Manhattan nearly a century ago!
