Description: In this listing we have a Hand Drawn President William H. Taft Family Tree, featuring the Members of the Robert Taft Family, with hundreds of branches that go back to the early 1700's. It was copied and enlarged in 1910 by Mrs. Clara O. Owen, a Taft Family Descendent through Robert in the 8th Generation, after William Howard Taft became President of the United States in 1909. It was done from an old copy printed around 1870. The additions and corrections on this 1910 copy were furnished by Mr. Russell W. Taft of Burlington, Vermont. All of this info is on the bottom edge of the woven paper. The family tree measures 20 inches wide X 25 inches high. Matted in black, under glass and in a beautiful gold painted wood frame, it measures 31 inches high and 25 3/4 inches wide. Our Taft Family Tree is guaranteed to be an authentic 1910 item and is not a new reproduction. It's in excellent condition and very well done.
