This was acquired out of a Central Ohio area previous estate, home or sale. WOW!!!! This is a nice looking 2 piece Oak Staircase unit. This has never been refinished and has the old varnish. As you can see in the photo below the Newel post has nice rope twisting and pressed moldings. This post is 52 inches tall and approx. 9 inches square at the bottom. The larger piece of stair railing is 7 feet and the smaller piece is 50 inches. Both of these are approx. 30 inches tall. THIS PIECE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. But, if I was this old, I would have a few bumps and bruises on me as well. The majority of the furniture items that we sell are considered antique pieces which range in age from 50 to 250 years old. Some pieces will have bumps, bruises, or normal wear because of the age. Of course, you're not buying a new piece, and this item, if it has original varnish, could need a cleaning to the winning bidder's liking.
