This was acquired out of a Central Ohio area previous estate, home or sale. WOW!!!!! If you are the type that likes the old original dark varnish dont miss out on this one its for you! This is made by the Larkin Furniture Company and is their typical well thought after Oval Mirror Top and Leaded Glass Door 1900-10 Secretary Bookcase Desk. This does have the original curved glass door. The leaded glass is in nice shape. We have had this same bookcase in the past several times. Most of them have had the old oxidized Larkin Furniture tag, but however this one has fallen off over the years. This is 73 ½ inches tall, 39 inches wide and 14 inches front to back. The very top shelf w the crown board is located is 38 inches wide and 8 inches front to back. The bevel oval mirror is 23 inches wide, 7 ½ inches tall. The shelf under the mirror has 2 different measurements; above the curved door is 14 inches front to back and above the lead door is 8 ½ inches front to back and 39 ½ inches wide. The curved door which has the original glass is 17 inches wide and 47 ¼ inches tall. The leaded door is 19 inches wide and 11 inches tall. The drop lid writing surface is 19 inches wide x 15 inches. Inside cubby hole drawer is 6 inches wide 6 inches front to back and 1 5/8 inches deep. This has great original brass hardware on the 3 drawers. The drawers are dovetailed and they are 19 inches wide, 10 ½ inches front to back and have depths of 4 ½ and 5 ½ inches deep. You can receive a quick and free shipping quote for this item at . THIS PIECE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. But, if I was this old, I would have a few bumps and bruises on me as well.
