This was acquired out of a Central Ohio area previous estate, home or sale. WOW!!!!! Usually when we get Fireplace Mantles in they are brought to us. THIS ONE WE TOOK RIGHT OUT OF A EARLY 1900s 2 STORY FARM HOUSE about 10 miles from us. In other words this has been in the same home for the past 100 years plus. This has a wonderful original finish and is also a 2 piece unit Mantle. If one needs to take this upstairs to place in a bedroom area. Yes all 3 mirrors are original. Its rare to find a Fireplace Mantle with 3 mirrors, they usually only have one. This is 78 inches tall, 60 inches wide and the large shelf is 11 inches front to back. At the base for floor clearance this is 8 inches front to back. The very top shelf is 54 inches wide and 7 ¾ inches front to back. The 2 small mirrors are 7 inches wide and 5 ½ inches tall. The large mirror is 23 inches wide and 13 ½ inches tall. As setting in the photos below the fireplace opening is 35 ½ x 35 ½ inches. This can be made larger by taking out 3 boards and then the opening will become 41 ½ inches wide x 38 ½ inches tall. The large shelf under the mirror is 60 inches wide and 10 inches front to back. THIS PIECE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. But, if I was this old, I would have a few bumps and bruises on me as well. The majority of the furniture items that we sell are considered antique pieces which range in age from 50 to 250 years old. Some pieces will have bumps, bruises, or normal wear because of the age. Of course, you're not buying a new piece, and this item, if it has original varnish, could need a cleaning to the winning bidder's liking.
