Description: A very fine French Eighteenth Century Louis XV/XVI carved pear wood armoire, circa 1780. The double domed cornice is decorated with floral and vine carving in relief. The arched doors are similarly carved and are fitted with herringbone panels with vigorous grain. The armoire has a warm patina with great color. Condition: Very good. Dimensions: Height 92", Depth 22", Width 52". The interior is fitted with three shelves.
