One of the hinges has an old repair which seems to consist of a paperclip, but it works OK. Crack along one canted corner (2.5") which could be repaired. There is wear to the exterior of the caddy which is good to very good for the age. Lid knob missing. Mahogany inset w/ ebony stringing around it; the rest of the veneer is either maple or walnut; the structure is pine as is the norm for this type of caddy.
