Description: A massive 18th century country French Lyonnaise walnut wedding chest. A lucky couple would have received this as a wedding present to grace their bedroom 200 years ago. There are flower and heart-shaped rococo carvings on the three huge drawers with later complementary hardware. The chest is constructed using wooden pegs. Although designed for the bedroom, this beautiful piece of craftsmanship is aesthetically pleasing enough to go in any room.
