Description: This is an outstanding 18th century Dutch style marquetry card table. It is beautifully crafted in walnut. There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, which is certain to make it a talking point in your home. As such, this card table is sure to take pride of place in your lounge or reception. This rectangular table features attractive inlaid marquetry. There is also inlaid marquetry around the rim and down the leg. The attention to detail on this piece is second to none! The top of the table lifts off and folds out to reveal a board for playing chess, checkers, cards, or backgammon. There is a compartment for storage below the table top as well. Marquetry is wood inlaid carefully piece by piece into the surface to form an intricate design.
