Description: Circa 1770 Chinese Export Mug/Tankard Clobbered with beautiful gold and blue coloring. This is a very unusual mug with nicely made double strapped handles with a gilded splotching at the bottom of the handles and also has a few butterflies in the well executed decoration which are vewry careful. This mug which measures 4 7/8" in height and the opening diameter is 3 7/8". Additional images are available upon request. This mug was probably made for the English Market.
