Description: Offered is a beautiful 18th century carved wood Guan Yin from somewhere in Asia, probably India or further east. The height is 31 inches and the condition overall is very good for the age. There are still traces of the original pigment, yellow, green and red. One finger has been broken off and lost, one finger has been re-attached. Probably from a shrine or temple, the Guan Yin has withstood a few hundred years of wear.
