Description: 1885 original edition of My Lady's Casket, illustrated by Eleanor W. Tablot in 32 lovely chromlithographs. The book is covered in original olive and brown cloth. There is gilt gold stamping on the front cover and also the top, bottom, and right hand side of the outside edges of the pages. Copyright 1884 by Lee and Shepard Publishers of Boston. The complete title is "My Lady's Casket, Jewels and Flowers For Her Adorning." The front and back cover and the spine are in good condition. The bottom of the spine is a litle dogeared. The first three pages have come loose from the binding. The front cover is a little loose and needs minor work from a book restoration company. The pages have good color and damage free from water stains. The lithographs are bright and crisp. If the book did not have the issues I mentioned, it would be selling for $400 to $500. Basically, this fine book has been discounted by half. Satisfaction guaranteed.
