We recently purchased a large assortment of OLD Collector Plates, dating from the 1940's - 1960's. Included in this group are STATE PLATES, CALENDAR PLATES, CHURCH PLATES, and SOUVENIR PLATES from various locations.
This Collector Plate is a Second Edition Souvenir Plate from Colorado Springs. It is a Colorado Springs Centennial Plate from 1872-1972. It measures 9" across. The Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, Cutler Hall, and General Palmer are represented. There is an interesting brief description of the pictures on the back of the plate. "Getzelman Decals, Hinckley, Illinois" is also printed on the back. The text and graphics on this plate are in very good condition. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs on this item. This Centennial Plate would be a wonderful addition to your collection. Anyone, especially from this part of the country, would be proud to display this lovely plate in his/her home or office.
