This was acquired out of a Central Ohio area previous estate, home or sale. WOW!!!!! This is an ebonized 1870-80s Marble Top Coffee Table. We are attributing this Kimbel Cabus Furniture makers of the time period. Back when this table was made this was probably 29 inches tall, however over the years this has been cut down to coffee table height of 19 inches tall. This is 40 ½ inches long x 28 ½ inches front to back or side to side. Please take notice of the fancy bronze ormolu edging around the marble. The black ebonized paint does show normal wear due to the fact this is around 125 + years old. This would be a great table to add to ones parlor room in front of that large Walnut Victorian Sofa. THIS PIECE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. But, if I was this old, I would have a few bumps and bruises on me as well. The majority of the furniture items that we sell are considered antique pieces which range in age from 50 to 250 years old. Some pieces will have bumps, bruises, or normal wear because of the age. Of course, you're not buying a new piece, and this item, if it has original varnish, could need a cleaning to the winning bidder's liking.
