It is a representation of Europe from the rare transitional Coltons Cabinet Atlas. Map is dated 1858. This is a physical map in which geological features take precedence over political. Fine Condition. This stunning map is a steel plate lithograph. Each map had a compelling decorative border that is distinctive of Coltons Maps from the Cabinet Atlas. These fine maps were once part of the exceptionally rare 1859Coltons Cabinet Atlas. The Coltons Cabinet Atlas is a hard to find transitional book bridging the gap between Coltons and Johnsons Atlases.
