Description: 1780's cornflower old Paris porcelain painted chocolate pot. Painted with decor "de la reine" or cornflower pattern. This pattern was first painted on Sevres porcelain For French Queen Marie Antoinette about 1774. Cornflowers were favored by Marie Antoinette. The cornflower pattern is regarded as a classic Louis XVI porcelain pattern. Measures 8" inches tall
