Description: Circa 1750 Chinese Export Dinner Plate measuring 9 3/8" in diameter. The armorial crest is in very good condition with little or no wear. The border on the outside rim is very nicely decorated and in good condition also. We have checked both volumes of David Sanctuary Howard Books on verifying the coat of arms and have not found the family this wonderful crest would have been made for. We feel that it would be a family from continental or dutch background.
