Description:
Circa 1750 Two Chinese Export Armorial plates. One is a soup plate measuring 9 1/4" and a dinner plate measuring 9 3/8" in diameter. Both of these plates have the same armorial crest and both plates are the dinner size plates as noted above with the exact dimension of both. Hardly any wear on these crests. Both of the decorated crests sre in very good condition as is the border on the outside rims is very nice and in good condition. The quality on both of these plates are very nice. Very Good Quality and No Damage. I have detected very little restoration if any at all. After much research over the past several months we have finally come across being able to identify the coat of arms. Both of these plates bear the Arms of Cransen impaling Hartman. This is in the publication of J. Kroes Catalog #403 A & B. The armorial crest on both of these plates hardly have any wear at all in both of these plates and both are in Excellent Condition. The border on the outside rim of both plates are vrery nicely decorated and they are in Very Good Condition with very little if no wear at all. Additionalo images are available upon request.
