Description: Rare and important American rosewood Rococo Etagere, mid 19th century and attributed to T. Brooks Cabinet & Upholstery Warehouse, Brooklyn, New York, circa 1855. The etagere has a carved dome shell crest with 3 finials, a center and 2 side crests, mirror back with three candles shelves on each side. The bottom has a serpentine front with mirror and shelving on each side. The etagere was refinished at one time. Minor bubbling of veneer at some areas. The measurements are 102 inches tall x 66 inches wide. An identical etagere with a label sold in May 1990 in Beacon, New York.
